  • Linux System Administrator

    Sofia Connect has a growing infrastructure of internal services that support us in our daily operations and help us keep our customers happy with our products. To maintain these better, we are looking to expand our team.

    Employment type:

    • Full-time @ Sofia Connect office

    Key responsibilities:

    • Keep track of Sofia Connect servers and services running on them.
    • Maintain or introduce a variety of services. These may include: data and configuration backup services, network services (DNS, DHCP, NAT and port forwarding, VPN), web and database servers.
    • Take part in maintaining our Linux based networking equipment. This includes Ubuntu software routers, bare metal switches with Cumulus Linux OS, Arista switches with Fedora based OS.

  • Marketing/PR Specialist

    We are seeking for a sharp, enthusiastic, and ambitious Marketing/PR Specialist who is passionate about public relations,  communications and media.

    Employment type:

    • Full-time @ Sofia Connect office

    Key responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the development and execution of written and spoken materials for speeches, press releases, background papers, blog posts, media alerts;
    • Manage media response, relationship building, follow up, and management of media contact database;
    • Develop and edit copy for marketing materials across multiple disciplines, including - but not limited to - collateral, websites, emails and direct mail pieces;
    • Research and development of ideas for thought leadership communications, including educational papers, seminar topics, speeches and interview material;
    • Timely and consistent support to company leadership and field-based sales representatives in drafting or editing business correspondence;
    • Help coordinate and publicize corporate programs/special events.

    Requirements and knowledge:

    • Strong and growing knowledge of PR, communication principles and techniques;
    • Working knowledge of social and digital media landscape and ability to engage;
    • Strong skills in written and verbal communication and strong presentation skills;
    • Passionate about PR and communications;
    • Comfortable speaking to the media and the public;
    • Represent Sofia Connect externally on a day-to-day basis with media, print, online and broadcast media interviews, event, sponsorships and industry partnerships;
    • Very good time management and organizational skills;
    • A high level of motivation, energy and drive to achieve;
    • A cooperative, team player.
