You choose the transponder, the modulation and the line rate. The capacity you get out of the slot is decided by your equipment, not by a product tier.
Upgrade without a new order
When a new generation of coherent optics arrives, you swap the transponders at both ends inside the same slot. No new circuit, no new contract.
112.5 GHz and 150 GHz slots
112.5 GHz fits 800G-class coherent optics. 150 GHz leaves room for next-generation optics. Actual reach and rate depend on your optics and on the route.
800G after line measurements
Before we confirm 800G on a route, we measure the line parameters on that specific route and share the results, the launch-power targets and the optical budget with you. You know what your optics will see before you order.
Reserved and isolated
The slot is reserved for you on every span of the route. No other channel shares it, and your traffic never leaves your own optics.
Line monitored 24/7
Our NOC monitors the amplifiers and the line around the clock. If you would rather not run optics, take a managed wavelength of up to 400G instead.
